I got this because my husband needed a new computer bag to take to work, and thought this would give him a lot of options. This backpack comes protected in a plastic bag and wrapped in a foam sheet.
The backpack comes loaded with pockets. On the side opposite the backpack straps, there is a pocket on the outside that is a smaller shallow pocket with a zipper. Behind that is another larger zipper pocket. The main chamber is also zipper-protected and when open reveals 2 large and 2 pencil pockets that don't have zippers or buttons. And below them, is a net pocket. In the very back is another zipper pocket.
On the side that has the backpack straps, there is another zipper that opens up revealing the 2nd chamber that has a padded pocket with a velcro latch pocket.
The larger chamber, on the outside, has an extra zipper that you can undo and that chamber expands another 3 inches or so, making it great for taking clothes and other bulky items. Outside there are also buckles that you can buckle and tighten to help keep the compartment the size you need it, helping to compress the items inside.
The backpack straps are also adjustable allowing you to make it comfortable for you to use as needed. And if you don't want to use the straps, there is a handle on the side so you can carry it like a briefcase.
Oh, and it does come with a USB connector cord, so you can charge your items and have the charger in the bag. It is easily removable if you need something other than a USB, like a USB-C or lightning.
Overall - this is a great backpack for traveling or for the office. You have tons of pockets, most protected with zippers and padding. And the main chamber can expand another 3inches-ish so you can carry clothes and other bulky items if needed. So far, this backpack has worked out well for my husband!
